A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate honey + burnt orange + caramel + amber colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy light tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering approximately 95% of the surface of the beer with a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel + biscuit + pale malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of earthy + herbal + floral hops. Hints of light fruit (apple + white grape) yeastiness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of caramel + biscuit + pale malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of light fruit (apple + white grape) yeastiness. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of earthy + herbal + floral hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp with a smooth finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but slightly over-carbonated in the mouthfeel for my palate (would have loved to have found this on cask). Enjoyable flavors and aromas.
