Appearance: Medium brown with ruby highlights throughout. Off white head with good retention.
Aroma: Malty with bread, toast and notable roasty notes. No burnt aromas.
Flavor: Malty with roasty notes most prominent, some coffee and toasty notes. Medium to low bitterness. Drying start to finish.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Dry with a medium length aftertaste.
Overall: GWB scored another high. This is perfectly executed, right down to it's lighter body. It does look like a lot of other breweries Munich Dunkel, but it has plenty of the roasted malt flavor you expect. Zero burn flavors. A well crafted beer.
