16oz can from Wine & Beer shop. Pale, clear golden pour, head fades quickly. Aroma is bready, grainy, sweet. Taste adds a bit of dryness to the normal lager flavors, sweet.

L: Pours a golden straw yellow with a foamy white head and no lacing on the glass
S: Bread dough and a hint of flaky fresh baked bread and a lighter hop, solid aroma.
T: Fresh baked bread and dough mixes with a higher that is a little lighter than I prefer for the style.
F: Light body, but the carbonation seems a little lower than I would like.
O: Decent but not mindblowing

Picked up a 16 oz single after my volunteer stint at the Hop Fly Brewing Save the Whales festival in Charlotte 7-1-23. No canning date; consumed 2-11-24. Cold stored since acquisition.
Beer poured gold with a beautiful white head that is still two fingers after 10 minutes.
Nose is notes of crackers and white bread.
Taste is very nice, getting a crackers and white bread from the malt base that leaves a touch of sweetness. Hoping is black pepper spiciness, which provides an excellent balance.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a really well brewed beer by the Good Work team. Glad i could try this!

Appearance: Clear gold, very slight haze. Fluffy white head with good retention. Fast rising bubbles.
Aroma: Mild floral and herbal hops with grainy and bready malt.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Malty sweet impression but drying. Grainy and bready malt. Spicy hop note. Restrained bitterness. Low sweetness.
MouthFeel: Medium bodied. No astringency. Soft, yet dry in the finish. Moderate & appropriate carbonation. Nice medium length, dry finish
Overall: Reviewing vs similar style. Fresh can (1/10/23) picked up directly from brewery, kept in refrigerated units. Good looking beer at pour. Clear gold with a very slight, almost unnoticeable haze. Head retention is good. Medium bodied, malt forward at the start. Hints sweet but is drying start to finish with a soft body. Aromas of grains and bready malt with subtle floral & herbal hops notes. Similar flavors: gains & bread. Spicy hops. Appropriate level of carbonation. Malt is prominent, bitterness is present but restrained. Clean fermentation profile. Definitely one of the best I've had locally. Well-crafted beer from a first class brewery.
