Nice looking beer; crystal clear first pour; deep gold with perfectly white head; compact head with some fine ring lacing.
Nose is a gentle aromatic mix of grain, fresh bread and herbal snappy spice character.
Taste is slightly muted compared to nose but it pulls its weight nicely; good malt character; more complex than expected, bread with some deeper crust and toastiness; hops are old world earthy and full with lingering black pepper.
Mouthfeel is a star for me; I’m not sure if it is, but I’d guess it was decoction mashed; it’s got that big full feel malt feel but finishes so clean, light, and dry; the bitterness is very pleasant is earth like and lingers , being very noticeable without overpowering the beautiful malty depth.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Clear, straw colored body. Two fingers of pillowy white head, and this maintains as a full cap and fuzzy high ring. Large torn sheets of lacing left behind.
Aroma of cracker malt, floral hops, and yeast (spices such as cloves, and bubblegum).
Taste is sweet, lightly toasted malt, and floral/herbal hops. Also has spice flavors of light coriander and cloves. Bitter bite at the end. The aftertaste stays malty sweet, with hops going herbal.
Medium mouthfeel. Soft texture. Clean and crisp finish. Excellent carbonation.
Right in there for style parameters and very enjoyable to imbibe with good balance, pleasing mouthfeel, and flavor depth.

Appearance: Clear gold. Frothy white head with good retention. Slow rising carbonation.
Aroma: Floral hops and grainy malt.
Flavor: Spicy and grainy. Low sweetness and low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, drying, with medium carbonation. Short clean, crisp finish.
Overall: Made with mostly Saaz hops and a little Sterling. Pours out a beautiful clear gold color. Develops a nice fluffy white head with good retention. Floral hops and grainy malt aromas. Flavors are spicy and grainy. Drying with a notable but appropriate bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft. Finishes refreshingly clean and dry. Naturally carbonated. GWB calls this their House Pilsner, but that sounds to generic, which this beer is certainly not.
