Appearance: Clear pale gold, fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Floral hops
Flavor: Grainy, spicy and a slight white grape like fruitiness. Low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Finish is soft and dry.
Overall: GWB has had several iterations of Kolsch. This one is definitely the best yet. It has good balance between elements of malt, hops and fruitiness. It has a little more bitterness than many in this style, but still appropriate. I've had the fresh draft version as well has canned. Draft has more notable graininess. Nice soft mouthfeel along with moderate carbonation. There is a very slight grape like fruitiness that was barely noticeable. Refreshing and drinkable.
