Appearance: Dark brown, fluffy off white head with good retention.
Aroma: Roasty, nutty
Flavor: Roasted malt , nutty with hint of chocolate. Semi-sweet. Moderate to low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied, drying. Moderate length finish with a trailing mild bitteress
Overall: sold, well made Dunkel. This was a very freshly tapped draft, exhibited more chocolate-like notes than some versions. It's a little rough round the edges, not quite as soft in mouthfeel as some. Low ABV is a bonus. This beer has plenty of flavor and character.
