We stumbled upon a trove of barrels once home to Whistle Pig Rye, later infused with delicious Runamok maple syrup.
A symphony of English malt and tradition meticulously woven into an English-inspired oatwine, aging gracefully for over three years.
The result? A decadent beauty that seamlessly marries rich, sweet essence of maple with velvety barleywine. When it came time to blend, we never looked back, wedding it with two of our most beloved barrel-aged barleywines.

Very sweet on the nose, but almost indistinctly. Is it the maple coming through? The Whistlepig Rye barrels? The big EBW malt base? Or a bit of everything?
On the palate, it drinks similarly sweet. It's a dessert barleywine, for sure. The maple is carrying quite a bit of the sugary load; the barrels, although present, are quite restrained. It's definitely a sweet malt base as well, and the overall combination is almost - almost, but not quite - too sweet. It's borderline cloying, but skating that edge is frankly delicious.
