Received a couple of 16oz cans from @ATL6245 via in-person trade on 4-25-26. No can date; consumed 4-26-26.
Beer poured clear gold with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose has notes of light toast, nuts, and a touch of fruit.
Taste is a lightly toasted malt base that gives a nice nutty edge with a faint touch of fruitiness in post sip aspirations. Herbal hopping and the front-end edge keep this brew not even close to being sweet.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall, i love the malt base edge and the almost subliminal use of the yeast to impart a faint touch of fruit. Nicely done!

Note: per brewer, changed the yeast and malt bill from At The Altar of the Sun.
Appearance: Clear pale gold. Frothy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Herbal/spicy with a hit of toasted bread.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Low sweetness, spicy and herbal. Low to moderate bitterness. Grainy note at the end that becomes more noticeable as it warms.
Mouthfeel: No astringency. Drying. Medium carbonation. Crisp, clean medium length finish with bitterness that lingers a bit.
Overall: Very good. Crisp clean and drinkable. Refreshing. Has some slightly different aromas and is a tad more bitter than its predecessor At The Altar of The Sun. More flavor characteristics are unmasked as it warms a little. I may like the previous version better. Still trying to decide, because they are quite close.
