Appearance: Clear dark saddle brown with khaki colored head, moderate retention.
Aroma: Malt forward, bready and earthy
Flavor: Toasty, bready with hint of caramel. Spicy, earthy hops. Semi-dry. Restrained bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, moderate length clean dry finish.
Overall: I have not had too many in this style but is a very close sibling to Vienna Lager. It's darker than an original Vienna. Provide enjoyable bready and toasty malt flavor with spicy/earthy Czech hops flavors and aroma. Easily drinkable. Medium bodied. Gives a sweet impression at first but nicely drying through the finish. Love it.
