16 ounce can - $4.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a dark brown body with a slim, short-lived, khaki-toned head.
Smell: Dark bread, coffee-and-cocoa-hinting with a sustained burnt grain/toast character to it.
Taste: A slightly grainy dark maltiness with cocoa powder, coffee powder and burnt malt powder (were that to be such a thing - perhaps a bit of collected post mill-in mill dust) with a swig of store-brand cola. A light dark fruitiness. Bitterness aided by the dark malts. A final little pop of malt sweetness on the drying finish with that burnt accent lingering in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Fairly likable.
