Woinemer is a brewpub several blocks from downtown Weinheimer. A large establishment, it is disconcerting to enter as the main entrance is thru a messy garage. This entrance takes one into a hostess station in a hallway. To the right is a large dining room, to the left the bar area. There is no bar to speak of, and although the area probably seats 50 it seems quite cozy. They serve three year round beers and a seasonal. The decor is brewpubish, hops, steins, and brewery murals. Several young men in rubber boots kept using the elevator, leading one to believe that there is an extensive brewing operation in the basement.

Woinemer Hausbrauerei is an exceptional treat. I stumbled upon this place with my wife and my best friend while we were walking back from a local castle. I just happened to catch it in the glimpse of my eye, and I knew this was a brewery/brewpub by the layout of the buildings. The overall layout of the restaurant is wonderful; however, I spent my first encounter here in the biergarten. The scenery was beautiful. The service was decent, but not to American standards. To German standards, the service was awesome. I never flagged down our waitress. The menu has several dishes which boasted ingredients of their beers, of which there are at least ten different varieties; however some are seasonal. Since this establishment resides in the town I live in, I will especially be visiting this place very often. Zehr GUT!
