Brewed with Norwegian ale yeast, Sabro and Citra hops, and local heirloom wheat, probably one of their best hoppy beers to date; this hides its 8.9% scarily well. Haze-bomb yellow-gold color, nice head retention. Huge aromas of lemon zest, maraschino cherry, peach, apricot, hint of grassiness. Palate similar; nice supporting malt balance but definitely not a malt-forward beer. Cherry shows up again in the taste. Balanced carbonation and body is correct for a DIPA. Recommended.
