On tap at Fifth Frame Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
This smells like melon, pineapple, zesty grassy hops, and light biscuity malt.
The taste is basically the same. It's a really good vehicle for Simcoe- there's clean bitterness, and a nice melange of fruity flavors- melon/pineapple and some grapefruit. There's very little malt flavor- just a bint of honey biscuit sweetness.
This is light bodied, crisp and very clean, with a good level of carbonation.
I like this one quite a bit. Fifth Frame has been good at these crispy little pale ales.
