On tap at Fifth Frame Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark brown color- it looks kind of watery for a coffee stout.
This smells like espresso and roasted malt, with a bit of smoke.
This is very watery. I expected some creaminess, but the espresso that was kegged into the beer seems to have completely overwhelmed the base stout, which I basically can't taste other than some stray notes of roast. The coffee flavor itself is nice, but there's basically no complexity here.
This is very light bodied. It's drinkable, but the flavor just asbolustely falls off at the end.
I didn't love this. It's too thin and needs some work.
