this is a style i really dont have a lot of love for, but these guys have done a respectable job with this, as over the top as it kind of is. one thing i like about it, is that its definitely still an ipa, so many of these get overly fruity and vanilla driven than any hops are covered up, but there is a great juicy dry hop profile to this in aroma and flavor that works great with the tangy passion fruit and sweet pulpy mango, both of which present themselves as extremely natural here. the beer is hazy and soft looking, with a rich lathery white head on it, dense and lasting. im not sure if there is vanilla in here or not, i would think a little, with some lactose too, this has a very desserty vibe and seems to be sweet more than from just fruit and grain. they actually brew it with waffle cones apparently, which are a little hard to fully pick up on here, but i guess i get them a little, mixed in there with the malt, a cool add either way. the hops have a little bitterness which is nice, and on top of the added fruit i get melon and lime and lemon from them, some grassy greenness, very fresh, and there isnt too much of the lactose here for this to be appealing, almost lightly candied or something, but all real balanced and agreeable to me. for a style i really am not in to, i thought this was tasty and well refined. all the beer in here was great!

On tap at Fifth Frame Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like mango puree, grapefruit pith, waffle cones, passionfruit, and honey.
This is pastry IPA at it's most egregious but it's still super tasty and super juice. It's mostly mango, pureed and honey sweet, with some waffle cone sweetness and graininess, and a hint of passionfruit tartness. There's a little bit of grapefruit pithy bitterness, but there's not much there.
This is juicy, and pretty creamy, with a normal level of carbonation.
This is a super fun beer- lots of nonsense but a delight to drink.
