On tap at Fifth Frame Brewing Co in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark purplish color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
Luckily, this smells mostly like blueberry, with a touch of balsamic funkiness on the back end. There's a touch of salinity on the nose, and some lemon as well.
I had heard from some people that this beer was truly horrific. Luckily, it's not that bad. I'm not fully sold on balsamic in beer, so luckily that flavor is pretty light here. There's a lot of sour blueberry, and some lemon zest maybe, and a touch of saltiness on the back end.
This is light bodied, crisp and clean and fairly juicy, with a good level of drinkability.
This is definitely unique, and that's to be commended. I enjoyed it, but don't really ever need it again.
