Slater is a nostalgic West Coast inspired IPA, delivering a school bus full of Simcoe and Citra hops straight to your noggin. This beer would pair beautifully with an In-and-Out Burger, and fries from a paper bag; if only we had one within 1,449 miles of here.

On tap at Lucky’s in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells really nice – marijuana, pine, spicy hops, grapefruit, orange, and stone fruit.
I haven’t had much from Fifth Frame lately, but it definitely seems like their smaller hoppy beers are still their wheelhouse. This is a really nice take on a clean West Coast IPA – you don’t see that a lot today. It’s got a pleasant and aromatic bitterness to it, nothing overwhelming, with grapefruit pith, some apricot, some lemon, and lots of orange.
This is lighter bodied, crisp and really clean, with a great drinkability.
This is an excellent choice if you see it around Rochester.

On tap at the brewery. Pours yellow/orange with an off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature pine, citrus rind, and sweet caramel malt. It's a solid but uninteresting WC-style DIPA.
