Tastes like sneaking into the fridge to eat a paw-full of frosting right of the can (and hoping no one will notice).

Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a one finger dark khaki head and several chunky blobs that must be chocolate related; great retention and lacing mixed with chocolate particles. Aroma of dark toasted malt, fudge, vanilla. Flavor is sweet dark toasted malt, vanilla, chocolate milk, milk chocolate and fudge. Medium to thick bodied with moderate to thick, cake batter mouth feel. Whoa, what a roller coaster ride of a stout experience. The pour is disconcerting with blobs of something chocolatey (they are the right color) and brown particles; probably turbid with particles, but this is a near opaque stout, so hard to tell. Arom is quite appealing. I thought "chocoalte cake, they nailed it", although definitely with vanilla icing. Flavor follows with tons of vanilla and various chocolate flavors, interesting. Unfortunately, a bit into the cloyingly sweet territory. The floating chunks were not as scary as they seemed in the pour, and not too dissimilar to if you crumbled a chocolate cake into a sweet stout. And since that's what they promised, I had to give them credit. I lost some points for the over sweetness, as if there was as much icing as cake in this stout. I can see that the floaties might be off-putting to some, but it's a lot like a cup of hot chocolate with a bubble of powder in it: feels odd at first, but rewards you with a nice burst of chocolate. I liked this, the flavor is fun and exactly to name. Not sure I'd get it again due to the sweetness, but a good dessert tonight.

I only gave this beer a one because you don't have a ZERO to choose from. right from the pour I knew this was not going to be good. As I pour chunks of something were coming out of the can. Not much head , smell was a sweet pastry smell. I let it settle a few minute to see if these chunks would settle out. I took a sip and had chunks of something in my mouth, I spit it out ,The tase was sweet, but not a beer,. The second sip was just as bad.
The Brewer should be fired if they think this is beer.
