I’ve never heard of Fifth Frame, but I felt like a unique combination of fruits for a Smoothie Sour was worth the blind purchase. Let’s crack it open and find out what it has to offer
Pours a hazy dirty orange witu 2 fingers of creamy off white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The tartness is pretty subtle in the nose but even for a sweeter take it’s balanced. I’m picking up on aromas of pear juice, apple skin, bready malt, tart kiwi, mango juice, light vanilla, and banana
It’s a lot more punchy in taste, really just dialing everything up. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting apple skin, lemon juice, tart kiwi, vanilla, bready malt, pear skin, and light honey. The swallow brings notes of mango skin, lemon juice, tart kiwi, apple juice, crackery malt, orange juice, and banana
A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes mostly dry and refreshing
Damn, this one was better than I had expected. Maybe I’ll check out more from these guys
