A Rochester favorite! This is our version of the sweet, malty, and delicious Scotch ale. Brewed to style with a toasted oak finish; this is one that you cannot pass by.

5 oz mini snifter pour on tap at the brewery. Pours a caramel color with a creamy head. Aroma and flavor feature caramel, biscuit malt, and light earthy hops. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Tasty, satisfying beer.

On tap at Char in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like caramel, char, roast, and dark fruit.
This is one of the better beers that I've had so far from K2. It's got a nice sweetness that's well restrained on the sweetness, with a touch of chocolate and smokey char, with some roast, and a hint of dark fruit. It's super toasty and would taste great in front of a campfire.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, and very drinkable, without any heavy boozy feeling to it.
I don't always love K2, but this very much scratched the itch for this type of big malty beer.
