We started with our popular Scotch Ale base and bumped the ABV to 9.5%. Then, we added vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, tart cherry juice, and local maple syrup from Belle Hollow. It truly is winter in a glass! Hops: Chinook.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a muddy reddish brown with a nice creamy head. Aroma and flavor feature spice, sweet maple, roasted malt, dark fruit (fig, date), and warming alcohol. Mouthfeel is full and slightly viscous. Overall a great take on a winter warmer.

On tap at Jeremiah's in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a golden brown color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like vanilla, Christmas spice, fig, raisin, and caramel.
This works well - it balances the line between nice adjunct additions while also proving a solid malt driven experience. There's vanilla and dark fruit, with boozy breadiness, a touch of spice, chocolate, and caramel.
This is medium bodied, creamy, malty, and rich, with a nice drinkability and very little booziness.
It's hard not to like something like this - it's one of the better beers I've had.
