On tap at K2 Brothers Brewing in Penfield, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, some nuttiness, and chocolate.
This is quite creamy, and pretty spot on for the style, if maybe a bit more bigger bodied than some of the more well known schwarzbiers. It's quite nutty and roasty, with some creamy chocolate, and just a little bit of hop character.
This is medium bodied, very creamy, and very drinkable.
K2 has gotten so much better over the past couple of years - they are now solidly in the top 50% of local breweries.
