Specially brewed RIS aimed to raise awareness and funds for Ukraine.
Classic RIS. Deep, dark and rich.
Enjoyed on tap at K2 brew pub @ outdoor fire pit.
Nice soft roasty nose; malty.
Taste mirrors. Much in tradition of original British brewing for RIS. Summit and Fuggles.
Smooth but not thick. Slightly thin body with restrained but still notable carbonation.
Again … true to original style.
I’ve grown to prefer bigger denser imperial stouts, but this is still a very nicely brewed beer.
Grabbed a bottle on way out.
