We started with our popular Scotch ale base and added vanilla, cinnamon, cherry, and maple syrup from Belle Hollow. We then aged it in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels! It truly is winter in a glass!

This one pours a murky dark brown color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells like spicy dry cinnamon, maple, cake frosting, medicinal cherry, and sugar syrupy.
I’ve liked a decent amount of the K2 BA beers in the past, but this is not one of them. It’s just so muddled, and way too sweet. The cherry is almost cough syrupy, and doesn’t meld well with the cinnamon at all. There’s too much of it, and it’s that dry cinnamon desert like feeling that can just ruin beers. There’s very little barrel, and all of the adjuncts just add up to this one being way, way too sweet.
This is medium bodied and syrupy, with very little carbonation. It’s not very drinkable.
This is just a mess. It’s an interesting idea, but there’s just way too much going on and none of it blends well together.
