On tap at K2 Brothers Brewing in Penfield, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite bitter and piney, with lots of roast as well.
This is a heavy duty take on the style, with a ton of West Coasty IPA flavor – bitter, piney, marijuana, and grapefruit pith, with roasted malt galore and some dark chocolate. This reminds me of something like Stone Sublimely Self Righteous from back in the day.
This is medium bodied, bitter on the finish, and slightly creamy.
I really enjoyed this one – K2 is sometimes inconsistent but this one worked well for me.
