Found at a bottle shop in Windhoek Namibia. Poured from fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with pretty much zero head. Nose is roasted malts, licorice, black currant, molasses, and maybe a touch of tree sap. Taste is really smooth. The bitterness from the roasted malts comes through, along with a bit of coffee and lactose. Definitely a good amount of dark fruit (black currant, maybe blackberries) and black licorice. A touch of tobacco as well. Mouthfeel is nice the viscous. Overall, a great stout from South Africa!
