We love coffee. We love beer. A brewer's mug is often used to hold both, whenever needed. Enter the New Realm Brewer's Mug Series where we combine two of our favorite brew-ables.
The first release from Brewer's Mug is our first coffee IPA. Its aroma is mild coffee with hints of cocoa, fruit and lemon. Taste is a delightful blend of coffee and citrus with hints of cocoa. It's bitter and hoppy, but the coffee adds a very interesting additional level of flavor and complexity that's as tasty in the morning as it is in the evening. Fill your mug.
Firelight Light Roast and Centennial hops. Dry-hopped mid and post-fermentation to provide extra OJ character.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter citrus balanced by sweet malt with coffee hint finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
