This silky smooth Oatmeal Stout will hypnotize you with melodic notes of coffee and chocolate in every sip. The beer pours black with a tan foam, this medium-full-bodied brew is ready to give you the loot in flavor. This stout’s got that "Big Poppa" vibe.

16 ounce pour - Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Served up a very dark brown body capped off with a medium beige, foam head.
Smell: A gentle, malty blend of toasted grain, minimally roasty, very mild cocoa and subdued nuttiness.
Taste: Modestly sweet toasty, not-so roasty malts with cocoa, a faint ashen hint and light nuttiness. The merest hop character and bitterness. Breezy finish with a little extra softness from the oat addition.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Subtly smooth.
Drinkability: A nice, easy-drinking beer akin to Highland's Oatmeal Porter.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had roast and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast and dark chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Poured a black body with decent tan head and lace ring down glass. The aroma is basically dry, roasted malts, with hints of oats and chocolate. The beer is dry, woody, a little harsh at times, no real sweetness or discernible chocolate taste, finishes dry and hearty.
