Had this “small batch” beer on tap at he brewery.
It pours a nice, hazy, golden color. The smell is grapefruit, and lots of it.
The taste follows the smell. You are punched in the mouth with a very citrusy, hoppy, grapefruit.
The malt definitely takes the back seat on this one. The hops are very much the star here, and they shine bright.
Mouthfeel is a bit boozy. You get a noticeable alcohol sting, but it complements the grapefruit well.
Overall, this is a winner and the best I’ve had from new Realm.
