Pours hazy gold color with a 2 finger thick foamy white head that faded slowly and left decent foamy lacing. Smells of tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, biscuit and light peppery spices. Tastes just like it smells but with more citrus like clementines and melon in the mix, plus some grains and tea leaf.

This was a very enjoyable DIPA and glad I had more than one!
I typically drink high abv doubles and there was no taste of alcohol. It was about one month old.

I don't see a date on the can.
Appearance: The body of the beer is a medium-light colored gold with a light bit of haze. It has a medium-large fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: It has a strong aroma of garlic and onions with a hint of mango and some alcohol.
Taste: The flavor of the beer is pretty uniform across the palate. It has a bitter note of grapefruit rind and a touch of grain alcohol flavor. There is a bit of mint in the aftertaste. A light peach flavor floats in on the palate from time to time and hovers above whatever the dominant flavor is, which is typically the rind or the alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Light body with a bit of chew. Bitterness is just above medium and it lingers. There is a powdery texture in the aftertaste.
Overall: It's a decent Double IPA. I could see picking it up to an alternative to some of the other widely available Double IPAs on the market. The alcohol presence is definitely noticeable so while I would recommend trying this beer, it's worth pointing out that it doesn't do a good job of hiding the alcohol. For a nice bitter, strong beer it is enjoyable. I could drink it again from time to time.

Picked up a crowler at the Virginia Beach Brewery. Pours a clear yellowish-amber color with a small white head and good lacing. Head retention is about average. Nice looking color and appearance. Strong aroma!!! With a crowler. I pour a pint and put the other pint in a growler. The aroma of this beer is apparent through the room as I am slopping around. Heavy duty pineapple and hoppiness. Flavor is real good too. This is a hop bomb. If you don't like real hoppy beers, this is not for you. In addition to the pineapple, there is a strong grapefruit presence and some dank and piney flavoring. Mouthfeel is rich, bitter and flavorful. No hint of the high .abv, but the effect is noticeable. I got a little out of the growler to finish my cheese and crackers, but I would not recommend drinking the whole quart at one sitting!!!! This is a really good beer for hopheads. Not just a head-shrinker, but flavorful too.
