From the bottom of the can: "PKGD:051023 1335 033669"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a medium gold color that is a touch on the darker side. It has a cloudy appearance but the body is free of any particles. Dark shadows are visible through the glass but it would be difficult to read through. It has a medium-large fluffy white head with exceptional head retention. The head has a bit of a creamy and soap-suds texture while being fluffy and ripply; it looks very nice. There are some thick wisps of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: There is a souring fruit aroma with notes of lemon and lime. A touch of pine comes through too. It has a bit of a Pine-Sol scent but the souring fruit scent gives it an almost raspberry note too.
Taste: Up front there is some light tart fruit flavor with lemon-lime and a touch of berry. Towards the middle there is a bit of grain flavor that creeps in which gets stronger as the beer passes to the rear of the palate. The aftertaste is a tart berry with a limeade note. It tastes a lot like a Gose.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is somewhat light but there is a soft texture which bumps is up in presence, pushing towards the upper limit of light-bodied. There is a light tartness and a light bitterness to the beer. It is pretty easy to drink but the somewhat weighty body slows down the drinking experience a bit.
Overall: The label on the can states that this is a "Lime Lager" and that "THIS CLEAN CRISP LAGER IS BREWED WITH FRESH LIME JUICE." It definitely has a lime presence which comes across more as lemon-lime. The beer drinks a lot like a Gose which is odd. It has a berry-like tartness which adds a lot of character to the beer. It doesn't feel clean and crisp though. The beer has somewhat of a heavier texture which dampens the drinking experience of this a bit. I would still drink it again but it isn't something I would buy a lot of. This kind of beer would work well in a variety pack or mix-a-six. I would recommend trying it if you are a fan of Gose but traditional lager and lime lovers might find it a bit off.

Bright yet gentle hops and light citrus notes. Easy and pleasant drinking.
