There is a package date on the bottom of the can, but it is on the rim and can't be read.
Appearance: It has a medium-light gold colored body with a moderate amount of haze. Suspended solids are visible. It has a short, fluffy, white head. Although the head is short it has good retention. Some sparse and spotty lacing.
Aroma: It has a bit of an apple aroma with a hint of cereal grain scent.
Taste: It has a sweet cereal grain flavor up front with some apple flavor. The flavor profile stays the same while drinking the beer, at all times across the palate. It has a clean finish without any real aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation feels good. It has a light body with just a touch of texture. No bitterness.
Overall: The beer has an odd apple character that detracts from the flavor and the aroma. The can states that it has a "medium body and a crisp finish." While the finish is clean, it doesn't feel crisp. The body also feels light rather than the advertised medium. It's not something I would buy again or recommend, mainly because the apple character feels out of place in both the aroma and flavor.
