Pours kinda clear for a hazy but ok. Head disappears quickly. Smell has a lot of citrus. Taste also is very heavy on tropical fruit. Alcohol is there at the finish. This would probably be fine on a hot day. Not doing much for me on this December evening though

12 oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured an almost clear amber with a small foamy head and limited lacing. The aroma of pale malts and tropical fruit greets you. The flavors are muted, but mild hop bitterness is experienced. The flavors taste sweeter than other IPAs due to the higher ABV of 9.5%. The ale has a medium body and a soft carbonation.

My pour was crystal clear at the brewery, so I’m not sure about any haze.

Definitely drinks like a modern IPA, with restrained bitterness and juicy expression. Mostly tropical fruit along with bubblegum and banana; I suspect there’s quite a bit of yeast expression here.

Very drinkable; shows the high ABV, but not enough to slow you down. Additional tasting notes of coconut, tangerine, melon, and pineapple.

Another candidate for a "New England Imperial IPA" style!!!! Unusual 19.2 oz can. A light, fruity IPA meant for summertime swilling (despite the 9.6% octane rating!!!). Poured into an Amstel beer mug, this beer presented a hazy orange color with a small white head. Average head retention and some bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste were mostly tropical fruit and that was mostly mango. As the beer warmed up, the citrusy/tangerine flavor became more apparent. Slighty bitter and moderately sweet, this was a fairly tasty beer. Mouthfeel was light and only slightly bitter. The 9.6 .abv was hardly noticeable except for the smallish head. New Realm has putout lots of beers that are better than this one, but Tank Dog is still a pretty tasty brew.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-yellow color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving just a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is a mix of some tropical fruits of tangerine, pineapple and mango mixed with some light bready aromas as a decent showing of grapefruit and herbal hop. Other light aromas of peach and apricot as well as a touch of grape and hay are there as well rounding out the smell nicely.
Taste - The taste begins with a doughy and bready flavor mixed with lots of fruit flavors of tangerine, mango, orange, grape, peach, and apricot. Along with these flavors comes a decent showing of grapefruit and herbal hop. As the taste advances the grapefruit gets stronger while so too does the tangerine and peach. Toward the end, some hay and more sweetness of grape and mango come to the tongue, leaving one with a nice fruity, moderately grapefruit hopped, and rather citrusy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and chewiness with a moderate carbonation. For the taste and the style the feel is good and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A nice fruity and citrusy IPA with a good and easy drinking nature. Quite nice.

Not a fan of fruit beers and this is fruity. This Imperial IPA misses the mark on letting the hops drive flavor. It has a thick mouthfeel. It doesn’t taste bad, but I would not drink another. I prefer hops forward IPAs and this is not one.

This is the first and only time I've ever seen a 19.2 oz can from a micro brewery. Pretty serviceable IPA here from a company still finding their way.
