This is from the New Realm Sampler variety pack, which has a date code on the box: "PKGD 11/04/22"
There does not appear to be a date code on the label or the can itself.
Appearance: The body of the beer is a pale straw gold color and very hazy. Dark fuzzy shadows are still visible through the glass. It has an over-sized foamy white head which shows no signs of dropping. Great care should be taken when pouring this beer. The beer leaves excellent rings of thick rocky lacing. It takes a bit of work waiting for the head to slowly drop so that more beer can go into the glass, but once it's all in there and settled it looks outstanding.
Aroma: It has a somewhat strong aroma of lemon with notes of white pepper and a bit of garlic. There is a bit of a confectioner's sugar scent and it starts to take on an aroma of a lemon bar.
Taste: Up front there is some lemon flavor with a touch of white pepper. The middle of the palate has a light flavor of rosemary and just a bit of a white flour biscuit or hardtack. Not much flavor towards the back of the palate, but the aftertaste has a hop bine oil flavor which is very fresh.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied but it also feels a bit watered-down at times which hampers the flavors a bit. It has a mild bitterness. It is easy to drink.
Overall: It is a good beer and it kind-of has this lemon water vibe to it. It feels a bit light but given that the label states this is "4.4% ALC/VOL" it is reasonable. The beer largely has a lemon flavor profile and some herbal notes which are pleasant. It is light and would go well with snapper or a light salad. I could drink it again but it wouldn't be a regular purchase. It would be a great option to buy with a meal at a restaurant or maybe with lunch if you're out fishing. I would recommend it as a whole.

Pours like any other pale ale. Smells strange to me, definitely not an “off” can though because it tastes great. Definitely could drink a sixer of these if I had to. Has a really nice smooth finish too. Surely has a little taste of IPA in it as well. Overall, great beer.
