Expect a darkly roasted coffee character. Charred oak barrels bestow a mighty mixture of bourbon, vanilla and coconut flavors. Deep black in hue and fiercely flavorful. Handcrafted to be revered.
The 3rd in the Cooper's Treasure Barrel Aged Series. This one's a 12.5% ABV behemoth, our Doomsday Hound Russian Imperial Stout that spent 8 months in first-use Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels.

Maintains the bitter roasty char despite the time spent in the barrel, but the bourbon absolutely comes out to play.
Flavors come across in waves, starting with toast, char, and prune; moving to brown sugar, red grape, and bourbon; and finishing with an almost neutral alcohol grain, wheat, more light char, and a noticeable booziness.
Should be a slow sipper, but the relatively thin body allows you to drink this one perhaps a touch faster than you should.
