KickFlipper has a medium-to-thick, off-white head and a somewhat hazy, orange-gold, bubbly appearance, with minimal lacing. The aroma is of fruity hop oils and white bread crust. The favor is similar, with noticeable, but not strong, bitterness. KickFlipper has a medium body and a dry finish.

From the 12 oz can, it pours a mostly clear light yellow with gold notes color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets some citrus with a slightly sourish note, not bad, just not great. The mouth follows with a hop wallop followed by a citrusy bitter aftertaste. Definitely a West Coast IPA

Appearance: Served up a fairly clear, bronze-meets-gold body with a whitish head. A scattered smattering of lace on the way down.
Smell: Crackling, lightly toasted barley grains. Faint citrus and... that's about it - not a particularly expressive aroma, sadly.
Taste: Lightly bready, lightly toasted, lightly grainy maltiness. A thin, faint veneer of sweetness, hinting briefly of treacle/golden syrup. Snappy bitterness in amidst the lemon-lime, grapefruit and earthy herbals. Medium bitterness. Drying heading towards the finish, though still some touches of treacle-tinged citrus at the end.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not bad. One of those unfortunate cases where the aroma left town like it was fleeing a warrant and I wouldn't have minded just a bit more bitterness. Still, though, not bad.

The ale poured a clear gold color with a white foamy head. The aroma of citrus, pine resin, and pale malts greets you. Ample lacing is observed. Wonderful IPA, nicely balanced with bitter hops on the nose, flavors, and aftertaste. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation.

12 oz can with a 6 February 2024 canning date stamped on the bottom from a mixed 12-pack.
Appearance. Lightly hazy with a thin, weak head.
Below average bitterness and light bodied for the style with plenty of tropical fruit notes joined by faint pine and herbal notes. The fruit notes dominate the semi-dry finish.

From the bottom of the can: "PKGD:020624 1121 012837"
It's worth noting that the date on the package matched the date on the bottom of the can.
Appearance: The body of the beer is a medium shade of gold and it is very hazy. In the shadow the beer appears more amber colored but near any kind of light it opens up to a solid golden color. The haze is significant enough to make it so that it's difficult to see much more than a fuzzy shape through the glass. It has a short creamy textured white head which has pretty good retention. It leaves a thin layer across the surface that slopes up the sides of the glass leaving what appears to be lacing.
Aroma: It has a very light grapefruit aroma and just the faintest hint of pine but it takes a lot of effort to notice the pine. While drinking the beer only a light grapefruit scent will really come out.
Taste: It has some grapefruit up front with a light spruce frond flavor. A light bit of spruce and lemon near the center of the palate, with pine near the back. Pine in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: It is on the upper edge of light bodied with a slight bit of texture giving it a hint of chew. It has a touch of a resinous quality which gives it a bit of texture as well. It has a medium hop bitterness which is pleasant.
Overall: The label on the can states that this is a "WEST COAST-STYLE IPA" and it has a lot of the pine character that was found in early West Coast IPAs. The mouthfeel is a touch heavy compared to the normally drier versions of a West Coast IPA but it still manages to deliver good flavor and bitterness. The aroma is very weak for an IPA of any style but what comes through smells nice enough. I could buy the beer again in certain settings but it isn't one I'm likely to buy again. It's worth trying if you're having it at a brewpub or at New Realm but there are better IPAs on the shelf to choose from.
