16 ounce can - $5.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a near clear, gold-toned body with a lofty, whitish head of foam.
Smell: Subdued, restrained maltiness embracing the slightly sweaty, sentient coagulative, minutely chalk Kviek yeast and Amerotropic hop blend.
Taste: A sweetish albeit lightly flavored (light toffee, biscuit innards) initial maltiness, then it's off to the varied fruit flavors yielded by the blend of hops but also the KE yeast. Mandarin orange, lemon-lime powder, lychee, passionfruit, pineapple with a subtler hint of spicy resins. Medium bitterness felt. A slight chalkiness on the back end, as some alcohol warmth comes in, nearing the fruity, tropical finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A reasonably amiable anniversary brew, though I'm more keen on its taste versus its aromatics.
