Draft at the brewery
Rich creamy med tan head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, very dark molasses brown to black color
Nose nice roasted malts, roasted coffee, little char, burnt marshmallow, hint sweet malt
Taste fair roast, bit of coffee, dark chocolate, burnt marshmallow char notes, soft lager, light roasty bitterness, cereal grain, dry bitter finish
Mouth is med to touch lighter bod, med to a little higher carb
Overall very nice beer

Drinking this at home.
Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black with a nice tannish foamy head that dropped to a thick cap.
Smells roasty, malty, spicy, floral.
Taste follows the nose nicely with the malt element right on the front of the palate.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall a very excellent example of a Shwarzbier that I will definitely drink again.
Cheers!
