Poured into straight stange like glass but larger: color is straw gold, head is off white and pillowy and presents 2+ inches thick, head lingers and laces well.
Smell is light pilsner malt, bread, biscuit, and light earthy hops.
Taste is lightly sweet pilsner malt, light toast, biscuit and earthy hops light acidic quality.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, some light bitterness with a lingering acidity.
Overall a grea Kolsch-style ale - malty, bready, lightly sweet, some acidity and hoppiness.

Can, no date. Pilsner glass.
A: pours a slightly hazy bright yellow with three fingers of foamy white head that persists as a thin white cap of foam.
S: fresh, clean, slightly tart estery aroma. Almost like a wheat beer, but really more like beer in general. Fresh.
T: arrives off dry, bready, crackery malt; soft and ever so slightly sweet with a hint not of grapes, but grape skins. Very clean on the finish with perhaps a little lingering yeastiness.
M: lightweight, but fluffy and soft. Nearly creamy. Slightly elevated carb gives it a very pleasant texture.
O: this is a real pounder, with subtle nuances and complexity - you just have to be looking. Awesome beer. Flying machine has mastered the kolsch and lager styles, I can’t wait to try more from them.

I feel like I could drink 10 of these and w first sip wished I had more cans. Pretty authentic kolsch feel with nice mellow hoppiness. And yet another beautiful can (not the one pictured).

A: Pours a relatively clear pale golden yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate medium bright yellow + amber colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a couple of small to medium sized patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the majority (95%+) of the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready + cereal grain malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness and a hint of vinous/white grape notes. Light aromas of herbal + spicy + earthy hops.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of bready + cereal grain malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by very light amounts of vinous/white grape notes. Finally there is a light flavor of herbal + spicy + earthy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly slowly.
M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially crisp with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with a traditional kölsch flavor and aroma.
