Named for the region, this beer has tasting notes of apricot, peach, tropical citrus aroma and is bright, hoppy and crisp. A focus on late hop additions provides a lot of juicy flavor while keeping bitterness restrained. This beer is named for Hamilton Pool Preserve, which is located near the brewery.

Gold pour, loads if tiny suspended sediment, nose is lightly fruity.

Taste shares tangerine marmalade, touch breadiness, hint caramel, light kilned malt, citrus pith. Mouthfeel is oily. Finish is semisweet citrus.

A well balanced pale ale.

Drank 5/20/24. Best by: 8/18/24
Pour is lightly hazy, golden yellow. loose cap of chalk white foam. decent retention and lacing.
Nose is pine, peach, citrus, tropical fruit
Taste follows -bready malt. peach, citrus, a bit of tropical fruit. lemony low / moderate bitterness.

Nice, easy drinking pale ale. Definitely seems to be a bit more of a traditional pale ale in that it’s not just a low ABV ipa. There is a decent malt balance. Overall, this is a very nice beer.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can.

Appearance: medium orange hue with a dash of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: mildly sweet with a dash of graininess to the malt. Hop aroma is nicely citrusy with hints of lemon as well as orange. I rather like this one.

Taste: malt has a light graininess and perhaps the tiniest hint of toast, and it’s not too sweet, which I appreciate. Bitterness is moderate-to-high and the hops continue to have that lemongrassy, citrusy flavor. This is pretty much what I’m looking for in a pale ale.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: this is a perfectly cromulent pale ale and is absolutely scratching the pale ale itch for me tonight. Good stuff!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a three finger white head that dissipates slowly to a thick cap with nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt and subdued citrus hops with light orange and lemon. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, grapefruit and lemon; light to moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A somewhat restrained pale ale with a solid pale malt base and mostly citrus hops with a simple flavor profile. Nothing really stands out, but a satisfactory citrus pale ale.

I had this beer from tap poured into a tumbler. Bright yellow color with good head and lacing. Grainy smell and taste. A little weak and watery. Could use more hops. Probably not a repeater.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading to leave a tiny bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall, consisting mainly of some cracker malt smells mixed with some grapefruit hop. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of an herbal smell as well as some hints of hay and pine.
Taste – The taste is as the nose suggests, consisting largely of a cracker malt flavor mixed with some grainy tastes. There is a grapefruit hop presence upfront, as well as a little bit of herbal hop taste. Both the hop tastes get stronger as the taste advances, being joined by a little bit of earth and hay. Toward the end, the graininess gets more intense, leaving one with a lightly hopped and rather easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess, overall, being rather decent for the flavors and the abv.
Overall – An OK pale ale. Easy drinking and moderately flavorful, but in the end, nothing too special.

12oz canned 7-14-20, opened 9-4-20.
2" off white head full of dense foam. Very good retention, slowly fades and leaves behind thick, clingy lacing.
Pale golden straw pale ale with good clarity.
Nice punch of bright citrus and lemon aromas. Touch of white grape.
Orange, zesty citrus, lemon zing, and a faint hint of bread dough.
Bright entry, light body, with medium carbonation. Quick, but bright and hoppy dry finish.
Super drinkable, great flavor, and a definite session choice at 4.9%
Very Good to Outstanding APA.
