Coal black body, opaque; deep, dark brown head, fat, frothy bubbles, recedes to a paper thin coating with dark tan hues atop the beer. Aroma infused with dark roasted grains, bitter chocolate with cocoa; fresh ground coffee beans. Fabulous flavor; milk chocolate; slight bourbon quality; sweet, roasted malt grain. Heavy body; slick and silky on the palate.
Depth and nuance define the signature qualities of this beer. It is richly sweet with a fine barrel aged whiskey offset. The beer demonstrates incredible balance and complexity with each sip. Truly delightful!
