On tap at the brewery: Deep murky brown color. Slightly creamy 1 finger dark beige head that doesn't lasts, with average legs and a low swirl reaction. Flavors of dark roasted barley, chocolate, toffee, light berries, brown sugar, and herbal hops. Slick, a bit smooth, medium bodied with average carbonation. Medium strength finish, lots of maillard effect, faint red ale spices, quite grainy and very lightly hopped. Cross between a red and stout. Freshness is alright. Nothing amazing while decent, the balance is good but lacking some personality.

Clear chestnut brown with a good head and cap. Mild malt nose with some floral notes. Medium malt body, very smooth.
