1 Qt Crowler filled about 22 days before opening.
L: Pours deep dark, opaque with a thin tan head that persists.
A: Citrus, floral hops up front followed closely by chocolate, roasted malt, burned bread crusts.
T: Like the aroma, this is spicey, floral hop forward but the malt follows closely and is aggressively dark-toasted, chocolate, vanilla, some raisin. Otherwise very clean fermentation profile.
F: Full mouthfeel, medium carbonation, low to no aftertaste.
O: This is a Cascadian dark, and not just an IPA with added color. The dark notes were welcome and enjoyable.
