Poured from a 12oz can into a glass mug. I bought this at the brewery, and a handwritten mark suggests this was canned on 1/9/24.
Appearance: medium amber-orange hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.
Smell: very sweet and bready with a bit of caramel character as well. Not quite as complex as I typically like a quad to be.
Taste: like the aroma, plenty of sweetness and a quality like a dark brown bread. It’s not bad, but it’s a bit one-dimensional.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and creaminess. I might have expected a bit more texture from a beer this size.
Overall: not bad, for an American quad, but also maybe not the best strong beer out there.

Had this beer at the brewery poured from tap into a half pour glass. This beer is flavorful but too much so. It is a bit of a caricature of a Belgian quad.
Mahogany color with thin white head but decent curtain lacing. Smell and taste of cherries, dates and dark raisins. Some banana as well. Too sweet and the flavors seem a bit artificial, and the feel could be richer. Flavorful but not great.

Very tasty and smooth hints of caramel , vanilla and honey. On tap at local restaurant, will definitely have again. Lovely amber color with a nice kick.

Poured from a 12 oz can:
Pours an effervescent brown color (I am not sure what to call it but it is slightly darker than walnut color).
Smell is primarily brown sugar and dark fruits. I get figs and raisins for sure, and maybe some kind of berry but I am not sure which.
Taste is brown sugar, dark fruits, and yeast up front. The finish brings cloves, some vanilla (I think) and a bit of booze to balance the sweetness, and ends up being slightly bitter. The overall flavor profile is well balanced - I’m not left with an overpowering sense of any of these characteristics.
Feel - Medium body, carbonation is appropriate for the style. It’s not as heavy as it looks like it will be.
Overall - I wasn’t too excited on appearance and smell alone but I ended up enjoying this one.

Hmm, I would say this is a slightly above average Quad. It is not bad at all, and I like it. I just can't give it a super rating, it just does not have anything that rises too much above the average in the style. It is a good beer and I recommend that you try it and see what you think.

12oz undated can poured into a goblet at fridge temp 8.4% ABV 24 IBU 20 SRM per label. The beer pours bright light brown with mahogany highlights and light brown head. The head recedes to a pencil thin ring quickly after a hard pour. The aroma is faint with Belgian yeast and brown sugar. The taste is dark dried fruits, burnt sugar caramel and some Belgian spice. The finish is clovey, mildly bitter and drying. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied with above average carbonation. Overall, good. It's a bit thin, but a nice flavor if you like a more yeast than malt driven quad.

Pours an effervescent and opaque brown with one finger of fast-falling sand colored head. No head retention or lacing
S: Figs, some yeasty notes
T: Follows the nose, a little brown bread & dryness as well up front. Dryness, figs, raisins and pear as this warms, a little kiss of vanilla as well. Finishes dry with pear, white grape & fig & just a little booze warmth
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation,
A respectable take on the style, on the the Low end of the ABV spectrum
