12 fl oz pull-tab nabbed in 4x12 fl oz format at Collins Midtown Liquor, Tulsa, Oklahoma for $11.49 USD minus a random 4% discount plus tax.
Seasonal release. "Blond ale" "with key lime & pink guava." Label art is lovely.
Insipid for a blonde ale with key lime and pink guava, which is to say the key lime and pink guava really don't come through at all, but there is a thin (almost watery) cheap 6-row barley flavour at its heart. Finishes with heavy minerality.
Not a great blonde ale; I'd contend Ballantine XXX is a better and more drinkable beer.
Feels like a cheap budget ale with great label art and a bunch of marketing schlock slapped on it. Probably the worst beer I've tried from this brewery to date. Laughably expensive for its absence of quality.
Low C- (2.55) / BELOW AVERAGE
