From the 16 oz can dated 05/02/20. Sampled May 9, 2020.
My can says "Highrise" not "Rise" but the label art is otherwise the same.
The appearance is a slightly cloudy but not hazy looking golden tone with a modest foamy whit head.
The mouthfeel is medium to full.
A short sweetness in the taste is quickly followed by a moderately bitter pine finale. A nicely done beer.

Poured into a tulip, the was a golden bronzed yellow color with a quickly dissipating small foamy white head. Trimmed by a ring of lace near the top, it took its time to fall off.
The aroma had soft sweet freshly cleaned laundry meshing with some pineapple and orange pulp. Subtle floral to grassy to sweet piney notes underneath.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side noting how that laundry freshness melds with the pineapple and piney bitterness. Aftertaste focuses on the freshly cleaned laundry with floral hops.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine, like a good DIPA. Pillowy yet bitter with some smoothness and nothing sticky whatsoever. Good finish of pineapple and cleaned .
Overall, West coast styled DIPA meets New England styled one and has a baby, yup, that's what I believe this to be.

Cans from a 2-week old batch purchased at a NH grocery. Pours a very light, slightly hazy apple cider color and shows a very small 1/2 finger wispy head that quickly dissipates leaving a little lace. Lots of pineapple and tropical fruit in the nose, probably the most notable quality. Nice tropical hops with a slight astringency in the taste. Very nice and gets nicer as it warms. Mouthfeel is a good...medium-thin with ample carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid DIPA.

From the can, it pours a hazy golden amber with a small white head. Pineapple and citrus in the nose. The mouth gets the same, although it feels a little slick after you drink it. Enjoyable.

16oz can dated 10/9/18.
Pours straw-gold with a minimal head and chill haze. Retention and lacing is barely there. Piney and tropical in the nose. Pungent pineapple and earthy sap. On the light side of medium bodied with a thinnish but somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Ripe citrus aplenty on the palate with zero malt and a firm bitterness. Finishes with a touch of honey and pine-rubbed pineapple.
Nice beer but the mouthfeel is a bit watery. Plenty of hops and fairly dry.

PKG: 10/9/18 20 oz. Can. Opened on 10/15/18
A pretty clear, gold>yellow>amber coloration. A low-lying, white foam never really becomes large, remains solid coverage at a very minimal level. I really dig its golden clarity amount all of the muddy hazzy IPA's.
The nose is just bursting with earthy pineapple, citrus, grains, red grape juice and various tropical style fruits from the fat hop aroma. A sweet, honey and caramel scented malty aroma is there, slightly buried by the pungent hops.
The hops are very impressive here, dry, grainy -earthy flavor's hit the palate first with dry and bitter effects. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, very crispy and dry going down. Celery and grass notes comes on next from the hops. Crispy and golden grain style malt balance rides in now, dried golden wheat, pilsner and hearty malt flavor is actually pretty complex, even with the heavy hops. Peppery citrus, earthy pineapple and black pepper are the flavor's i'm pulling from the rest. The malt also has the look and feel of some classic imported pilsners just for an odd kick.
I like Rise! It's Light, yet heavy-hitting malt charecter, golden but not hazy like the New England Style dipa's, but not nearly as sweet and heavy as the West coast style. This falls somewhere between both styles, the complexity is high for both the malty base and the high toned hop side. The extra crispy, snappy feel makes it crazy drinkable for a Dipa and then a lager malty slickness rides in, out of nowhere.
