Pint can dated 12/2/20. So it’s almost 5 months old. Maybe that’s why it tastes a little off, somewhat disappointing.

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a beautiful yellowed woody/cardboard sort of color to what's inside the glass. A small finger's worth of white foamy head slid off to a mild extremely slight semi-filmy lace.
The aroma bleeds through subjugated sweetness pretty much trolled by a sly sweet juicy orange fruity contour. Grassy hop spice rolled in to mesh, or do it's best shot to mesh. Nice enough bitter citrus rind whiffs roll in for a very all around balance. Some pine.
The flavor subtly yielded to the sweet grassy to subtly spicy hop yet rounded out maybe tangy rolled out bitter piney note. Mellow aftertaste of grassy to piney qualities.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a refined sipping quality about it. Carbonation seemed to feel somewhat between an American Imperial IPA and a New England styled one. There's some dryness. Finishes with a subtle crisp pine but a grassy hop spice interfering ever so slightly.
Overall, nice enough DIPA borderline New England styled one that I would come back to.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. The head has excellent retention, leaving a nice crown of lacing as it eventually settles into a thick blanket of foam.

The aroma brings lots of citrus; namely oranges and tangerines. There's also some pear and peach notes, with some faint mango and pineapple on the back end.

The flavor brings a ton of tropical fruits up front; mangoes, peaches, pineapples and fresh coconut shavings. Then comes a wave of tangerines and oranges. Finishes bready with a subtle hint of pine and apple skin.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very creamy and smooth. The alcohol is extremely well hidden.

Overall, a truly great DIPA that is full of hop flavor yet is exceedingly well-balanced. Surprisingly drinkable.

Can from Candia Road Canned on 7/30/2019 Love how fresh that is!
Bright golden color with a hint of haze and a small bubbly white head that persists. Citrus orange and resinous pine against a sweet bready maltiness. A little bit sweet but it is tasty and shows almost none of the abv.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can!

A - Medium lemon gold colored pour with nice dense white lacing that clings to the glass and mild carbonation.

S - Sticky, resiny tropical fruit dominates the nose - some resiny pine, apple, pear, citrus, apricot, and tangerine.

T - Follows the nose: Tropical fruit, citrus, apricot, and tangerine dominate with sticky resiny pine on the backside. Finishes balanced but on the fruity / sweeter side. Some subtle resiny pine pops up at the end and lingers a little bit.

M - A little sticky on the lips but overall: Thick, slick, and viscous with a semi-dry finish on the back of the palate.

O - The mild booziness doesn't detract from the overall beer. With only (4) reviews so far there's a huge disparity in opinion with this beer. Grab one and review it. Recommended.

Poured from a 16 ouncer that was canned on 06/26/19. Sampled on July 7, 2019.

Golden yellow with a modest head. The pour has decent enough clarity or maybe a chill haze but not an NEIPA pulpy haze.

There are some enticing fruit aromas here including apple, pear, and peach with a lower profile white breadiness.

Almost creamy medium or better mouthfeel.

The first taste sensation is sweet breadiness and then right after that the fruit sensations mentioned above roar in to bring this to subtle, not overly hopped, finale. I thought it was a decent beer.

Happy Birthday Lady Liberty

A very slight haze within the mostly golden color. White foam cap lays low, totally even and slowly recedes. After a bit, the only coverage is a thin foam circle around the edge. Devilishly intricate lace.

The hop aroma gives off a very nice sweet mango and pineapple, a bit boozy as it reminds me of a fruity margarita. Coconut cream pie and gentle golden grains round out the nose. The aroma is interesting, not very pungent, but certainly inviting.

The sip is a mega dose of hoppy flavor. Classicly bold, boozy and rather bitter even for an American Imperial IPA. The Cashmere>Calypso>Summer>Columbus and Azacca hop attack makes this seriously complex. Pineapple soaked in vodka, mango, bitter earth tones of lightly roasted barley and dried wheat all mingle together nicely.
The mouthfeel starts out light with an instant dry and bitter punch, then it becomes a rather slick, medium to full feel in the middle, slightly dry, then very slick again to finish.
Overall, it's deep, yet harsh ... Very extreme but a bit muddled and boozy. I appreciate the big hop mash up with it's boozy fruit drink style and extra bitter earthy punch that seems pretty big, even by today's standards.

Overall, it certainly has it's charms and high points, the boozy pineapple flavor is my favorite. Together it's a bit of a beautiful mess.

Poured into a Breakaway Beerworks canned shaped pint glass, canned on 6/26/19. Pours a clear straw yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that clings to the sides of glass like a fat kid a frozen Snickers bar on a hot July afternoon, leaving huge waves of lace and yielding excellent retention. 4.25

Smell herbal, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, and a hint of coconut. 4.5

Taste follows mango, pineapple, peach, mandarin, and just little bit of coconut really tasty! 4.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than most, gentle soft carbonation, sticky not dry, and at 8.1% ABV crazy drinkable. 4.75

Overall it does not have to be hazy to be tropical and juicy, this one is really really good. A must try if you see it. 4.5
