Served in a half-pint glass. Reviewed November 2010.
A: High clarity. Light, bubbly head. The colour is pretty, a light clover honey colour.
S: Aromatic hops and a distinctly pleasant grassy smell.
T: Not good at all. Watery, sour, and largely tasteless. A tinge of hops on the aftertaste can't redeem it.
M: Watery and unpleasant.
D: Light enough to be drinkable, but nothing I'd ever want to. I don't know if something was off with this cask, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

On cask at Blackfriars in Glasgow in June 2009
Pours a dark golden yellow with hints of amber and red. The head is thick and great. Lacing was also very good.
The nose was very interesting, and could be contemplated all day. A great mix of bready and buttery malt with a fruity hoppy profile.
Complex and contemplative to say the least. For a beer of such modest alcoholic strength the flavour doesn't pull any punches. Balanced well between ripe fruits and toasted bready malt. The finish is bitter.
Full bodied with a medium and soft carbonation
