Cask. No sparkler. Clear amber with a thin creamy head.
Smells of light liquorice, barley and fresh hop.
Tastes like it smells. Nice medium bitter finish. Balanced.
Soft cask feel with only slight carbonation.
Straightforward.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, Label unread (for now!)…
L- Beautiful clear mid-chestnut brown. Pours with a 2mm pale tan foam cap (ps 10mins later holds very well).
S- Very mild indeed, just some light grain.
T- Trad light roast grains into quite notably bright hoppy-dry finish.
F- The body is relatively light compared to the Taste^. What you might expect from a 4.9% Bitter.
O- It's what I regard as a very trad English Bitter, lighter on body leaving the hops to stand out a bit more. Nothing here to offend or stick out of line, If this is sold as a pub draft beer I can imagine it's many a folk's 'regular'. Eminently sessionable too.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed!
500ml bottle BB: Oct-22 £2.24 Bought from BeersOfEurope, King's Lynn/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
