First off, the atmosphere is great. The stained glass windows, dark wood tables & bar, and great artwork make this one of the coolest places to drink a beer in Youngstown. The they do offer traditional beers like lagers & IPAs, the main focus here is more experimental & barrel aged sour and mixed-culture beers. These folks are passionate about what they do, and it shows in their beers.
A must-stop for any beer fan living in or visiting the Youngstown area.

Nothing like walking into an old revitalized church with death metal playing on the radio. Metal themed beers and atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty to choose from when it came to the beer although a bit heavy on the sours/wilds. All in all, really cool place and wouldn't mind going back someday.

Keep an eye out for a brick church on a corner with a tight gravel parking lot--this is the spot you're looking for! I'm sure signage is only a short ways away as their branding efforts begin spinning up to full force. Walking inside, it's obvious they have a clear idea of where they're going with the vibe and style. Aside from some reclaimed wood, stained glass and a partial organ wall serving as the tap station, the church theme is not beaten to death, and the Noble Creatures, (their pets), begin to take center stage--the cat skull of the first they lost is a solid logo.
They make good use of what actually turns out to be a smaller space than it appears from the outside. A good number of tall, communal tables buffer the space before you come to a moderate-sized but newly finished dark wooden bartop in front of the draft station with a large cask and a barrel or two nearby. The folks that had a hand in opening this, including the brewer and owner, are busy at work yet readily available at this point in their life cycle, happy to pour a beer, grab a glass or tell you their story.
The beer here is surprisingly polished for their age, especially considering their ambition. While they have some nice Stouts, IPAs, a tasty Dunkel, and even a couple NE-style IPAs, they are specializing in sour and funky brews. In an attempt to introduce the greater beer drinking public of Youngstown to sour beers, they're doing a great job not going overboard, providing introductory sours aged in oak that maintain enough complexity to impress the skeptical, without being harsh, extreme or funky enough to turn off the more casual. If they keep up this progression, they will surely be one to look out for.
